Home Styling Design Process

The first step in the discover phase is scheduling 1:1 consultation call or in person meeting. Typically this is about 30 minute meeting where we get to know each other, the project needs and discuss your timeline. After this call, typically a mood board or visual inspiration design will be completed to ensure that the design style and direction will work for your project. Once we agree to work together, we move straight onto the Plan phase!

The Plan phase can be one of the most time consuming phases of an interior design project. Depending on the scope of the project, we will ensure that priorities are set in order to align with your specific project deadlines. The planning stage includes room spatial planning of rooms, paint and materials selection, wall coverings, furniture, lighting, and more. You should expect to see very detailed schedules of all elements provided, in list format and visual formats. Once we have final approvals on all selections, we move onto Implementation and install!

The project inquiry form does request that you upload some inspiration images. Often the best place to find inspiration is through internet search or Pinterest. This will give me a first look at your design preferences and what you are drawn to. It will also help me to ensure that my design style and work will meet your needs.
